Grief Bowl Workshops
Workshop leader: Suzie Goodenough
Location: Rehoboth Art League
Grief is a part of our human experience. We grieve the death of those we love, but also the losses that come through change, transition, broken relationships, and unmet expectations. Each form of grief is valid and deserves space to be acknowledged and expressed.
This unique 3-week workshop offers a supportive community for those navigating grief through the therapeutic process of working with clay. Clay invites us to reconnect with the earth, offering a sense of grounding, creativity, and peace, as we explore and express our grief. Together, we’ll create a space for reflection, connection, and healing for the way forward.
Participants will create a personal grief bowl - a meaningful and functional piece that can hold mementos, memories, written prayers, tears, or symbols of remembrance and healing.
